What is Outlyr?
Outlyr is a YouTube analytics platform that tracks any channel, syncs every video, and uses outlier detection to surface the videos that dramatically outperform a channel's average — paired with AI-powered content ideation.
What is outlier detection?
Outlier detection compares each video's view count against its channel's typical performance. A score of 4.2x means the video got 4.2 times more views than the channel's average, instantly showing which formats, topics, and titles resonate with audiences.
Which YouTube channels can I track?
Any public YouTube channel. Paste a channel URL or handle and Outlyr imports the full video history automatically. You can organize channels into groups for competitive research and niche discovery.
How often is channel data synced?
Channels are synced automatically on a recurring schedule so outlier scores stay up to date. You can also trigger a manual sync at any time from the dashboard.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes — every plan starts with a 3-day free trial. You add a payment method at checkout but aren't charged for the first 3 days. After the trial your plan renews automatically at its monthly price ($12, $47, or $97). Cancel anytime before the trial ends and you won't be charged.
What does the AI ideation feature do?
Select an outlier video and Outlyr generates fresh content ideas in the same proven format — titles, angles, and hooks you can use on your own channel. Ideas are ranked by estimated potential.
Is there a Chrome extension?
Yes. The Outlyr Chrome extension overlays outlier scores directly on YouTube pages so you can spot viral hits while browsing. Download it from the Extension page after signing up.
How is billing handled?
Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your subscription settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then.
Do you offer refunds?
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds on any subscription or one-time purchase. You can cancel your subscription at any time to stop future renewals, and you will retain access until the end of the current billing period.
Is my data secure?
Outlyr only works with public YouTube data. We never ask for your YouTube password and never post on your behalf. Account data is stored encrypted and handled per our Privacy Policy.
